Abstract

This article recounts the practical experience carried out in a higher level teacher training institution in the city of Añatuya, province of Santiago del Estero, Argentina, in the subject of Primary Level Subject of the Primary Education Teacher Training course, as part of the residency process for obtaining the title of Specialist for teaching at middle and higher levels. From the basic disciplinary training - Social Work - we have tried to apprehend the educational and subjective question that crosses the social subjects, as students in the process of teacher training, and how in this way they manage to recognise themselves as such and to recognise other subjects with whom they are going to move in the school world. The theoretical and methodological development has focused on the construction of didactic sequences where key concepts have been provided and group activities have been carried out through the reading of bibliographical material and the projection of audiovisuals aimed at reflection and critical construction of the educational reality in their places.
