Abstract

The present article is the result of an investigative process developed during the year 2015, as part of the assignments of two academic courses. It is necessary to add that this document was reassessed in the year 2016 due to the participation, generated in different academic spaces of discussion. As a matter of fact, during the fieldwork process, many of the subjects who were part of the investigation participated by sharing experiences regarding obstetric violence. In addition to this, regarding the generating axis, we must mention that it is related to the importance of making visible other manifestations of violence against women, with the objective of problematizing, and at same time, eliminating them.
